So it may as well be said, I like to support amazing home grown talent, by recognising not only the growth of up-and-coming designers, but by boasting the well established labels that have a cult following within the Australian community too. For my friends and followers from overseas that haven't been fortunate enough to come 'down under', I wish to open your eyes to the sophisticated, chic and cutting-edge developments of our fashionable city life....Forget 'skippy', 'uluru' and 'throwing shrimps on the barbie', our city produces some of the best art, music, cuisine, fashion, performance, design and ideas in the world....and the Trimapee label (said; Trim-mar-pea) is the brainchild development by amazing design creators Mario-Luca Carlucci and Peter Strateas.
Having studied Industrial design and Communication design, it was the intrigue and exploration of the human form that turned the collaboration of mainly sculptured art into the birth of a small menswear collection, by the self-trained designers. Today, Trimapee has extended its products to womenswear, hand-made shoes, bags and accessories.
