Escale À L.A.-Vogue Paris Aug 2011

This is a monster post AND the first issue of Paris Vogue completely under the direction of Emmanuelle Alt as head honcho, since former Editor-in-chief Carine Roitfield stepped down (some may say pushed) from her 10 year rein. Despite the lack of air kissing and front row snuggling between the two (whom are believed to no longer be on speaking terms), Alt has managed to include 64 designer looks/silouhettes for the Fall/Winter 2011/12 season in the August issue, as per her predecessor's creative editorial style. Here are 20 of my faves (yes 2-0) featuring models Lara Stone (also featured on cover), Freja Beha Erichsen, Isabeli Fontana, Natasha Poly and Arizona Muse (whom all -with the exception of the latter- I've touched on in previous editorial posts), along with photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. This editorial co-styled by Alt, Suzanne Koller and Melanie Ward, is a sexy memorable mix of the essential style for the season, rocking new age glam, against a cinematic Californian-dream backdrop. What's your fave? xx
