Jason Grech-Reloaded (MSFW '11)

One of the greatest ways to open Melbourne Spring Fashion Week (MSFW) was to attend the Jason Grech 'Reloaded' show on Monday night at the Jason Grech Style Office....and I was fortunate enough to do just that!! The work space by day, was magically transformed into a fairytale of opulence to launch the 'Anatomy' S/S 2011 collection, (inspired by Bangkok airport) debuting alongside the exclusive White Hollywood Glam Bridal Collection. Prince Charming had parked his golden horse out front, whilst inside, fashion friends mingled with amazing food created by chef Shane Delia of Maha and St Katherine's fame, whilst sipping Angove wines and colourful Capi Soda's.  An edible chocolate chandelier by Sisko chocolate (melt-in-your-mouth and inspired by Jason's Anatomy collection), occupied guests both visually and tastefully whilst awaiting the show. And if that wasn't enough, we all got to take home goodie bags too!!

The beading, detailing, and felt appliqués were a common theme throughout, and not to forget the pop colour, floaty fabrics and prints....After the show we got up close and personal with the garments in Jason's beautiful showroom, and they did not disappoint xx

Decjuba S/S 2011/12 Product Launch @ Lot 4

Australian-based label and women's fashion brand Decjuba, has appeal that stems from styling that is both fashion forward and functional, and Wednesday night's product launch preview for their upcoming collection (due to hit stores in the coming week), was no exception.
Host and celebrity stylist Amber Renae guided the Decjuba team, fashionista's and guests through a series of affordable key looks and colours for a 'go-to' effortless, everyday spring/summer wardrobe. A mix of gorgeous neutral shades with prints and hits of pop colour were demonstrated by models with lush accessories, working seasonal basics with highlighted pieces, to help make the transition from our cooler months to the warmer months easily achievable. The highlight would undoubtedly be the versatility of simply turning a gorgeous Aztec printed scarf into a cape, and not to forget the Decjuba gift voucher, one-on-one style makeover, and Endota spa package that was up for grabs on the night, whilst we sipped on the refreshing summer tastes of Capi soda and bubbly.....xx
